The Introduction to Data Science will provide the basics of data science with focus on digital manufacturing. The students will get an understanding of data types, languages, and tools that are used by data professionals. The course will provide a primer on machine learning. However, for in-depth understanding of machine learning models, please take the second course in the series.

The Introduction to Machine Learning will provide the basics of machine learning. This course has been developed for manufacturers and folks who aspire to be in the manufacturing industry. However, students who want to learn about machine learning in general are also welcome to take this course. This is the second course in the series of three courses that is being offered as part of the Manufacturing Cybersecurity AI/ML Engineer role. The course will provide competencies around understanding data-driven models, how to use data-driven models for practical applications, and basics of training and testing these models.

The Cyber in ML and ML for Cyber course offers the students the ability to understand how machine learning is applied to cybersecurity problems with focus on Manufacturing and Cyber-physical systems. The course will walk through Cybersecurity data science, methods to use machine learning for cyber-attack and defend operational technology and information technology networks and systems.
