The UMBC-MxD team has the trainers, curriculum, expertise, and ability to rapidly deploy education and workforce development initiatives in geographically dispersed locations. These include traditional classroom curriculums and experiential training that enhance human behavior and capability adequately for a rapidly evolving technologically advanced environment. Experiential learning will utilize human-centered computing, visualization, and virtual reality to bring the current and future real-world environment to the workforce, enabling an immersive experience to enhance the skills for effective use of OT technologies.
